MALEFICIA (2002)
In French with English subs
A family of nobles in Carrozza travel in a forest in which, in the same moment, a satanic cult completes human sacrifices made up of young girls. The ritual gives new life to the buried dead around the forest and forces the travelers to kill or be killed. During the fight with the zombies they end up in an old abandoned castle. In the basement of the castle lies a sinister VAMPIRE(yep, that's right!). Extremely gory low budget horror film from France!
MANSION OF THE 7 MUMMIES (1977)
In Spanish with English subs
Masked wrestlers Blue Demon and Superzan must aid a young lady in undergoing three ordeals to inherit a treasure. Satan Himself appears and eggs on the bad guy, and there are some fights between wrestlers and mummies. You can keep knocking those mummies down and they get right back up again. Sometimes when it is supposed to be night time it is rather sunny. Filmed on location in Antigua Guatemala, and the locations are pretty strange and interesting. Though quite cheaply made and not very lively, I still watched it all with some interest. Look out for the surprise ending - some people you think are good guys turn out not to be and someone you think is a bad guy was only a poor communicator.

2 EYES TO KILL (1968)

Running just under an hour (the only known copy in existence), Director: Renato Borraccetti, Stars: Jack Taylor, Aïché Nana, Warren Daniels, and Fabio Testi. Extremely rare, overlooked, thriller centered on a vendetta carried out by a man, a gangster whose donated his own eyes before being executed.

THE MONSTER OF FLORENCE (1985)
In Italian with English subs; Letterboxed print
Companion film to THE KILLER IS STILL AMONG US, based on a true story of the Italian serial killer who terrorized Florence. In Italian with English subs. Gory & nasty giallo, based on the real-life killings that shocked Italy! The killer here enjoys slaying couples that make love inside cars. This is actually one of the 2 films which were made at the same year (the other one is THE KILLER IS STILL AMONG US!) with the intention to exploit those shocking murders! Needless to say these films prompted anger from the victims' families. Uncut & slightly letterboxed. Cesare Ferrario's "Il Monstro Di Firenze" . The movie is quite creepy at times, and although it's certainly not the most suspenseful thing ever brought to screen, it has a certain eerie atmosphere, which is intensified by a pretty cool (though in no way outstanding) score. Several gruesome murders of young couples have occurred around Florence since 1968. In 1985, when this series of murders has not yet come to an end, Writer Andreas Ackermann (Leonard Mann) is currently writing a book about the killings, and therefore works on some kind of psychological profile of the mysterious psychopath...

NAZARENE CROSS OF THE WEREWOLF (1975)
In Spanish with English subs.
This retelling of a popular legend, based on a radio drama scripted by Juan Carlos Chiappe, was tremendously popular throughout Argentina when it was released in 1974. Nazareno Cruz is the seventh son of a couple living in a high mountain village. According to folklore, a seventh son will become a wolf on nights of the full oon.Everyone in the village is relieved when this doesn't happen. The boy grows up and falls in love with a beautiful girl, Griselda. Around his 20th birthday, he is visited by the Devil, who offers him the wealth of the world if he will turn his back on his love for Griselda; if he fails to do this, he will certainly become a wolf. Nazareno bravely chooses to continue in his love, and duly turns into a wolf. While he is being hunted down by the villagers, he is led to a mysterious cavern where the Devil again appears.Nazareno is told that he will be killed, but because of his goodness he will go to heaven. The Devil wants a message delivered to God: he's tired of being the bad guy on earth and wants to retire.
SATANA (1991)
In Russian with English subs.
In the Russian film "Satan," the devil is a delicately handsome young man whose murderous opportunism is too easy to understand. While the film registers shock at its protagonist's absolute amorality, it also presents him as part of a bitterly divided and pessimistic culture. The world of "Satan" is one in which nothing really works, and therefore anything goes. "Where's our motherland?" one character asks, looking at a map of the Soviet Union that is upside down (the film was made in 1990). "At the bottom," another character replies. "Satan," directed with a keen eye for detail and an unnerving matter-of-factness by Viktor Aristov, tells of the impassively good-looking Vitaly (Sergei Kuprianov), who at the beginning of the film cheerfully offers a bike ride to a pre-adolescent schoolgirl with whom he is acquainted. They ride together for a while, singing, and then Vitaly pulls off into a deserted area and kills the child for no apparent reason.

HARD TIMES FOR DRACULA (1975)
In Spanish with English subs.
Jose Luis Lifante and Beatriz Savon star in this sexy comedy from Spain. As the title says, these are hard times for Dracula. Years don't go by in vain, he has financial problems and even his own castle is now open as a public attraction. He also has no luck in the search of love or finding a victim to quench his thirst of blood.

LADY IN WHITE (1962)
In Swedish with English subs.
A ghost, called "vita frun" (The White Lady) ,is blamed for the strange deaths that occur at a country manor. But is it really a ghost? This film manages to be quite unintentionally hilarious at times, when Mattsson tries to give his old-fashioned ghost story a sense of true pathos and a "Bergmanesque" sense of doom. The actors mostly play the whole silly plot commendably straight.

LITAN: CITY OF GREEN GHOSTS (1982)
In French with English subs.
Directed by and starring Jean-Pierre Mocky. "Litan" takes place in a strange French town Litan full of masked citizens and off-beat characters. The coffins are flowing in the stream, the cemetery crosses are on the rocks and the funeral orchestra of silver masks is playing some weirdo music.Add also a lot of running and screaming and some bloody murders and you have a winner."Litan" is a surreal and dreamlike assault on viewer's perception. The script is utterly outlandish as it mixes black humour with some fantasy and horror elements.I'd like to spend some time in Litan among crowds of masked weirdos.
OGROFF THE MAD MUTILATOR (1983)
In French with English subs.
Ogroff (also known as The Mad Mutilator) is a cheap backyard French slasher directed by N.G. Mount (Norbert Moutier). It follows a disturbed masked slasher as he kills whoever wanders in to his corner of the quaint French countryside. But, this simple plot outline doesn't really explain what's so wonderful about Ogroff... The gore, the gleeful child dismemberment, the horrible acting that at times would be too broad for a silent film, the sudden appearance of a zombie invasion, the bizarre synth soundtrack that ends with some sort of bizarre reggae, the buzzer sounds, the flashing eyes, and Howard Vernon..

THE MURDER CLINIC (1966)
Letterboxed print. Patients and staff of an isolated mental hospital are being killed off by a hooded maniac who stalks the halls. William Berger, Francoise Prevost, and Mary Young co-star. Beautiful looking print.
PASSPORT FOR A CORPSE (1962)
Letterboxed print in English with some scenes subbed in English.
One of the best well kept secrets of Italian genre cinema! Italian film from 1962 that is part crime thriller, film noir, and horror film. When a robbery goes wrong the only survivor tries to smuggle himself across the border by hiding in a coffin. When he gets out of the coffin he finds himself locked in a morgue freezer with three dead bodies. While trying to escape the morgue and his isolation he slowly starts going mad and hallucinating. Throughout the film he is haunted or menaced by a woman who may or may not be real. Unique and strange film that gets more and more weird as it goes along.

SO SWEET SO DEAD (1974)
Finally a perfect quality print of this great sleazy Giallo. Finally an English dubbed print of this very sleazy thriller, letterboxed with no subs! Farley Granger stars as a cop on the trail of a serial killer, knocking off all the rich wives who screw around on their husbands. Susan Scott, Femi Benussi, Silva Koscina, Anabella Incontrero, and Krista Nell all have nude scenes!

DEMON OF THE ISLAND (1983)
In French with English subs.
Obscure French horror film by the director of BLOOD ROSE, this one delivers in nudity and violence. A young attractive lady doctor trying to recover from a personal tragedy arrives at a somewhat secluded French island community to work her sorrows away. But a funny thing starts happening just after she arrives -- Local citizens have increasingly dangerous accidents involving otherwise mundane household appliances or objects: Coffee makers shoot scalding water, wine glasses shatter and splinter into mouths, electric carving knives strike back at their operators, razors start chopping away masses of flesh, a microwave oven teaches a chef to keep her cotton pickin' fingers to herself, and finally a small drum of cooking gas explodes, claiming two lives. Our heroic & somewhat neurotic young doctor senses that the accidents are connected, somehow, and tracks all of the deadly appliances to a local general merchandise store, where they were all purchased brand new just before turning on their would have been owners. Further intrigue involving a sinister local physician, a deformed kid, a well-informed Atari, and the indifference of the local population all add to the mix, with our young heroine becoming increasingly hysterical & convinced that some sort of other-worldly influence is at work.
HANSEL AND GRETEL (1990)
In Italian with English subs. This film is one of five films Lucio Fulci "presented" and "supervised" towards the end of the 1980s (the others are "Non Avere Paura Della Zia Marta" aka "The Murder Secret", "Snake House" aka "Bloody Psycho", "Massacro" and "Fuga Dalla Morte" aka "Luna di Sangue"). From these four films, Fulci later used most of the gore effects again in his "Un Gatto nel Cervello" aka "Nightmare Concert".Two children get abducted by villains who take their organs to sell it illegally for transplantation. The ghosts of the kids return and take revenge, forcing the bad folks to suffer more or less nasty deadly accidents.

ESTIGMA (1980)
Great Jose Larraz horror film with Helga Line in English!
Not the greatest larraz flick but not his worst either, plenty of nice atmsophere and hot babes. the plot revolves around a troubled youth with telekinetic powers and incestuous emotions. the story is a bit slow at times but larraz superfans should not miss it.
GOODNIGHT MR MONSTER (1982)
In Spanish with English subs.
Paul Naschy in one of his most obscure Wolfman roles! This movie is the best. Mostly for kids, a great parody of the most popular classic horror films (Dracula, The Werewolf, Frankenstein...), starring the child's music band "Regaliz" performing very funny songs. The director is good and the actors manage to make us laugh very often. It's so funny, you get a good laugh, and make children laugh at the classical monsters instead of fearing them. Highly recommended, both for children and adults who wants to remember their childhood besides laughing a little.
